Facelift Surgery

More technically referred to as “rhytidectomy,” facelift surgery is a surgical procedure in which Dr. Mandell-Brown emphasizes his Natural Look ™ technique to help combat imperfections such as:

By personalizing incision methods, Dr. Mandell-Brown is able to customize the facelift surgery to reach a refreshed, not overdone, appearance. Typically, the procedure is begun by creating an incision that spans across the hairline, and runs in front of and behind the ears. During this time, Dr. Mandell-Brown will remove fatty tissues through liposuction (“lipoplasty”), tighten the underlying muscles, and then remove and redrape the skin.

With incisions hidden within the hair and in the natural creases of the ears, patients are able to receive a rejuvenated appearance with the use of Dr. Mandell-Brown’s minimal scar technique. If the patient is seeking to attain an overall rejuvenated appearance, eyelid surgery (“blepharoplasty”) may also be combined to remove excess eyelid skin, and make the eyes appear more revitalized as well.
