Dear Family and Friends,
Marianne and I would like to appeal to your generosity in supporting our ” Ride for The Cure” to help fund research for juvenile onset diabetes. There are so many worthy charities, but we have several close friends whose children have been diagnosed with diabetes. Research and advances have improved the lives of these children but more financial help is needed to find a cure.
Marianne will be riding 60 miles and I am attempting 105 miles joining the Greater Cincinnati Chapter Ride for The Cure in Death Valley, California on October 15-18, 2009.
Last year the Ride for the Cure earned over $2.6million. The Cincinnati Chapter earned $200,000–the second highest in the country!
Please join us in supporting our ride and diabetes research. To donate, please send checks made out to JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) directly to us.
